因为凶手们都不笨，选的都是gun free zone动手。老实的守法公民身上没枪，没法反击。

据统计美国每年合法拥枪公民持枪自卫上百万次，大量歹徒被击毙击伤的案例，只是媒体不报道罢了。而且除了自卫以外，合法公民用枪阻止犯罪的例子也很多，甚至有警察被罪犯枪击，路人拔枪制服罪犯救下警察一命的事迹。下面这个网站收集了不少这类例子。

还有，“还有枪击凶手怎么老是对着平民开枪，不去政府里面射击呢？”这个问题问得好。因为大部分政府大楼里入口都是有X光和金属探测仪，以及武装保安和警察守卫的。我去政府办事被收缴过一把心爱的小瑞士军刀（没收了，不还，TNND），还有一次都进了政府的门，才想起来腰里还别着9mm喷子，这要是被抓住了可是重罪，赶快回车里把喷子给藏起来了。所以说， 凶手们都不笨，知道捡软柿子捏。
