Fun fact: the first book in the series that "Game of Thrones" is based on is called "A Game of Thrones". I don't know why they changed it for the show.

Titles don't have to follow the usual grammar rules. You can think of titles as names.

There are many books, plays, movies, and shows with titles that, if they were part of a normal sentence, would have to have an article, but, since they are titles, they don't have to have articles.

For example:

• "Journey to the West" by Wu Cheng-en
• "Twelfth Night" by William Shakespeare (play)
• "Kung Fu Panda" (movie)
• "Star Trek" (TV show)
