这是我当年收到的MIT eecs博士offer。刚从邮箱里翻出来截了个屏。槽点过多不知从何说起。大家比比看看就知道了。

谢谢评论里指出MIT的确有CSE (computational science and engineering)的项目。该项目隶属于计算科学与工程中心CCSE(center for computational science and engineering)，而不是工学院(school of engineering)。在官网上查看到CCSE好像是刚刚从CCE改名而来。该中心独立于传统的EECS系，从2020一月份起归属于新成立的College of Computing（计算学院）。个人猜测这种新改制的小项目可能人均funding比较多，2021fall的EECS申请者不妨考虑同时申请这个项目试试看。

As of January 2020, the Center has been renamed the Center for Computational Science and Engineering (from CCE) to reflect its strengthening engagement with the sciences at MIT, as well as the nationally recognized name of the CSE field. This change also helps align the Center name with that of the CSE PhD program.

Also starting 1 January 2020, CCSE has become one of the core academic units of the Schwarzman College of Computing. We are excited about the opportunities that this move will bring to the Center and to the MIT CSE community. For more information, please see College’s initial organizational plan.
