将汉字的字音改为多音节以改善汉字同音字问题可行吗？ 第1页

如果是把汉字向古汉语方向改，就是添加辅音簇（而不是添加音节），那么发音效率就会下降。单位时间传递的信息就会变少，而且这样添加的辅音簇一般响度低，抗噪能力差（汉语在发展中逐渐抛弃辅音簇是有现实原因的）。那么确实还不如添加一个音节。

但是把汉字改为多音节，还不如在容易混淆的词语里加入一个字来减少混淆。

但是同音词对于汉语来说这并不是什么大问题，只不过是写成拼音形式并去掉声调时会很容易混淆，那本来就是抽去了部分信息的一种表达形式，本来就不完备。欧洲语言里面同音词少，但一个词的意思往往比较复杂（以下摘自Merriam-Webster），这个效果和同音词是一样的，而且书面写出来还不如同音词明晰：
